I have been a loyal customer since 2008-2009, and found my haircut with Shoji to be consistently good. My experience this past weekend, however, was terrible. Shoji had mentioned that he will perform a dry cut followed by a cut after my hair was washed to refine the cut. Another hair dresser was asked to shampoo my hair, and Shoji simply never came back. The end result is that my bangs are very heavy and not refined, and the layers are choppy. In addition, the junior hairdresser could not style my bangs, and they were just falling in front of my face. This completely ruined my Saturday night dinner with my fiance.
It was a terrible experience.
