I have been a patient of Dr. Siefe's for years and have always found him to be very nice and helpful. However, after my last visit I left feeling bombarded by the front desk employees. They were insistent that I make appointments for treatments that even Dr. Siefe said didn't need to be done anytime soon, treatments that would cost me several hundred dollars. Even weeks later when I tried to adjust the work I was scheduled to have done, she insisted it was all necessary. I'll be calling to cancel my future appointments. I don't like feeling pressured to have procedures I'm not comfortable with and that are unnecessary so that they can make more money, which is exactly how it feels there now. Disappointing, but I'll be looking for a second opinion.

We are sorry to hear you feel this was as that is not our intention. Even when your treatment is preventive, it is recommended to help limit future dental emergencies and often small cavities are forgotten about until they get worse. Our front desk makes every effort to help inform and educate patients on their treatment options and costs involved. We try to offer the same excellence and compassion that we desire in our own healthcare and will gladly schedule a consultation with Dr. Siefe to discuss in further detail your recommended treatment. We additionally support second opinions and are happy to forward your x-rays to another office if that will allow you to be comfortable in your continued dental care.
