essensuals London is a new innovative salon concept from the highly acclaimed TONI&GUY London, providing the ultimate hairdressing experience. Our state of the art salon is located amongst Cherry Hill Malls high-end designer boutiques and offers the latest in quality hairdressing, inspired by fashions leading British designers. We will be bring the best of British hair design and education to Cherry Hill Mall.

Meet the Directors

Darren & Amy McHugh met whilst working at a very successful TONI&GUY salon in Cheltenham, UK. Having completed the intensive training at the TONI&GUY International Academy in Manchester UK, they both worked their way up the career ladder, taking advantage of the many opportunities made available to them. Between them they have worked backstage at fashion shows for Vivienne Westwood, The National Clothes show Live, London Fashion week and New York Fashion week. They both also became Educators at the TONI&GUY Manchester Academy and part of the Manchester Academy Art Team and having felt they had gained enough experience to run their own salon, Toni Mascolo made this dream a reality and offered them the chance to take over a TONI&GUY salon in Gloucester, UK. Within a year, Darren & Amy had been awarded Franchisee of the Year in recognition for their hard work in turning a salon round to finally reaching its full potential. They finally passed the 'baton' on to one of their employees and decided to use the funds to invest in this new venture at essensuals London, Cherry Hill, NJ.

Excellent customer service is always provided by the entire staff. Loved the chocolates and rose for Valentine's day. An extra special touch to an already amazing experience. Darren always has the best ideas to keep my cut fresh and Kellie is a super colorist. Top notch salon, will never go anywhere else!
