I was given the option of getting a picture of my eyes instead of having to dilate them - but only for $30 more. It would have been helpful to know that extra fee in advance.
Maybe I should have known this, but the Dr. told me they can't adequately test my contacts if they dilate them. I only learned that AFTER I dilated, and the main purpose for the visit was for contacts.
Lastly, I felt like I was just one more cow they had to get from the feed lot through the process and out the other end. Very little connection to me as a person. Moooooo.
