About
Laureen Quick, Executive Director for Floating Feather(R), is the visionary behind Floating Feather(R). At the age of 43, Laureen woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and said to herself--"Girl! You are a woman on the edge!" She was overweight, bloated, stressed out, and she felt miserable--physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Laureen resolved right then and there to change her life. Over the course of several months, Laureen changed her diet and she became physically active. Laureen also began to work on how she thought about and looked at life in general and the events of her life in particular. In other words, she shifted her thinking and disciplined herself to think more positively. Laureen also began taking time for herself--making self-care a high priority. Over time, Laureen got off the high blood pressure medicine and anti-anxiety drugs she had been taking, lost 60 pounds and became a healthier and happier woman.
Today, Laureen is on a mission. As Executive Director for Floating Feather(R), Laureen wants to create a space where women and men have the opportunity to care for themselves, even when their schedules are busy. Her vision for Floating Feather(R) is to create an energetic spa experience that facilitates transformational growth for Floating Feather(R) spa guests and members.

I used to frequent the spa on a regular basis. It was my sanctuary and I can tell you that I have not found another place like it. I was transferred to Texas and there is not a day that goes by that I and my family don't miss Idaho and the only spa that I have found that can make it all go away.
I look forward to the day we return to see friends and, without a doubt, the spa. Good to see that you are still in business.
