About
Dr. Hoang Truong grew up in Sacramento after moving from Vietnam at the age of 12. After graduating from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry she chose to come back to become a dentist in Sacramento.
To ensure that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care Dr.Truong keeps up-to-date with continuing educational classes including Laser Dentistry, Dental Implants, CEREC, Cosmetic Dentistry and Oral Sedation Dentistry. She enjoys being a dentist in Sacramento and adores her patients often sending them birthday cards, get-well cards, and personal thank you notes.
Dentistry is truly a passion for Dr. Truong. She has traveled to many developing countries to provide free dentistry to citizens who do not have access to dental care. Although Gateway Dental keeps her too busy to continue her charity work in these countries, she volunteers her time providing screenings and dental procedures at events around the community.
Dr. Truong is in a constant state of improvement. She actively takes courses to increase her skills and quality that she provides to patients. She believes that if she can take on these more complicated procedures that she can lower patient's costs by keeping the procedures in-house.
