I went to see another dentist in the area and was told I had 2 cavities which needed to have "preventative root canals", severe genervitis, bone loss, needed some kind of experimental cleaning and antibacterial wash to prevent "more bone loss", and refused to give me a normal cleaning stating it would cause more harm than good. All of this was going to cost close to $2700 and insurance would only cover $900 of that. I was extremely hesitant about this and it just didn't seem right. So I went to see Dr. Bell the day after, who I had previously seen and had earned my trust. Dr. Bell and his dental hygienist, Debby, found no cavities, slight gum swelling from my bad brushing habits, a couple stains on my teeth where the previous dentist told me I had cavities. Debby did the cleaning and Dr. Bell said he'd like to see me back in 3-4 months instead of the normal 6 to keep a closer eye on the stains and gum swelling.
With that said, Dr. Bell is the ONLY dentist I will be seeing in the future! He has earned my trust for a lifetime!
