Gilbert Veterinary Hospital is proud of our longevity in the community caring for animals. We have been located just south of the corner of Ray and Gilbert Roads for over 30 years. Dr. Beverly Scott joined the hospital in 1978, which was owned by Dr. John Woods, and bought the practice in 1979. Gilbert Vet was the first and remains one of the few privately owned small animal hospitals in Gilbert. We are an AAHA accredited hospital, which means we have passed the stringent standards required by the American Animal Hospital Association. We have 7 doctors and 25 staff members who provide professional, compassionate care for your special dog and cat companions.

Dr. Scott was amazing as usual. I had my cat in for an issue with his front paw. She was very thorough in her examination and quickly discerned the probable cause, and treatment options. Dr. Scott is very thorough and it is obvious she cares a great deal about her patients and their comfort. The staff is always pleasant and professional. I am thrilled to have found this veterinary practice!
Another wonderful experience starting with the front end staff, continuing with the vet tech and with Dr Dudley. Very caring people, cheerful and happy. Trust them completely with my girl. The facility is clean and well kept too.
All of the staff here are very friendly and very professional. It is obvious that everyone who works here loves animals and what they do for them. Excellent practice. Human healthcare providers could learn some lessons from this place.
As always my Chiquita girl received excellent care! Dr Dudley is in communication with our specialist at this time and making sure that everything is covered and going well. I always receive follow up phone calls, even on her days off. Who does that anymore! My fur baby is in “good hands!”
You guys are great! I love how you treat my Moose man as if he’s the most special dog on the planet. I can feel how much you care about his well being. Even though we live on the west side (for now), I’ll always bring my pets to you guys.
I got right in and I am always treated well. I was extremely worried about my Senior dog who sank during swimming in our pool and aspirated chlorine water. Xrays blood work medication given. It was revealed she also has an underlying renal issue I did not even know about, and am so thankful. She was given special diet food to try also. Thank you Dr Dudley and staff. She seems to be doing pretty well. I am hopeful. Before I was frantic.
The staff are so friendly that they complete the dental experience which allows you feel calm and welcomed. As a parent in the waiting room while your child is undergoing some discomfort, it is reassuring to know that your child is in excellent hands.
