Our goal is to not only provide excellent medical care for our patients, but also provide the owner recommendations for home care after leaving our facility. We try to anticipate any possible concerns an owner may experience at home, and recommend things such as Elizabethan collars, canned foods, cage rest. At the time of your services the collar was declined (because the pet was an outside pet and would not chew at them. When an animal is admitted or released from our hospital for a procedure. We allow the owner to decide whether they elect to purchase these amenities at that time. A few owners decline these things. Therefore, we inform them that things such as Elizabethan collars can be purchased at the area pet stores, in the event they decide to purchase one after our posted hours of business.
