Good afternoon,
Thank you for asking. I arrived at my appointment just before my scheduled time of 1:50 PM. As I was walking towards the door to enter, I was greeted by a female technician. At that time I was asked if I had an appointment, then my temperature taken. I was then told to wait in my vehicle and call the number posted. A gentleman whom had pulled up after myself said " Man I'm super late". He then was met at the door and was told the same thing. At this time I made the call from in front of the building . All of my info was taken. The gentleman whom was late also made his call. About a minute later a female technician came out and motioned the gentleman whom came after me in ahead of me. I was called in a couple of minutes later. After my short exam, I was taken to another room to wait for the doctor. I was taken to the other room just before 3 O'clock. At 3:20 I was told " we haven't forgotten about you, he's finishing up now." At 3:30. the doctor comes in. I was told by the doctor "He was seeing a person that was LATE." MIND YOU, My complaint has nothing to do with Doctor Bruce. My complaint is that, I had a 2:50 PM appointment. I was ON TIME for my appointment. If you are running SUPER LATE for your appointment, you should not be given the time of someone else's appointment. That person should have been RESCHEDULED OR waited to see if the doctor can somehow fit him in. I am a black American and have been coming to Grove Ave for many years. I am APPALLED that this has happened. It is a feeling of Discrimination.

Hello Mr Robinson. I am so sorry that you had to wait. It is up to the doctor if he wishes to reschedule a patient that is running late or not.The order in which our patients are seen is also up to the doctor in that specific instance. I have spoken to the doctor and he has assured me that he thought the exam would be a quick one and he made the decision based on that factor. Again, I will make sure to take this up with all the doctors in the office to make sure we make the correct decision in the future. I can assure you that we do not, have not or ever discriminate anyone in this practice. We are fair and as you know, since you have seen us for many years, that we are not anything like that.
Please accept our apology for any inconvenience you experienced and please be assured we hear you and will work to make this process during Covid easier for all.
