Hair Science is a full service Barbershop and Barber School. We specialize in men's grooming and look forward to sharing our Unique Hair Science Experience with every guest that walks through our doors. We offer a variety of services and customize every haircut to carter to the individual needs and desires of each guest. We offer professional and student services that will accommodate any budget. We also maintain a standard of high quality services that keep our guest looking and feeling their best.
Hair Science has been serving Anchorage since 2008. Shawn Idom is the Owner, Barber, and Instructor of Hair Science. He has over a decade of experience in the profession of barbering. He is well versed in all the latest trends as well as the more traditional haircuts. He not only practices the craft, but also trains and mentors the next generation of future professional barbers.
Hair Science supports our local community through our numerous outreach events. We host Cuts for Coats, our Back to School Supply Drive, and The Great Alaska Barber Battle annually. We are not just a local business we are a part of the Anchorage community.
