My wife and I both had massages there last Thursday evening. My wife enjoyed hers and her only complaint was that the person kept trying to upsell her the whole time. I also found it unusual that we weren't asked to fill out a little questionnaire beforehand about preferences, particularly since we were asked to arrive 15 minutes early to do so.
On the other hand, I would have to say that it was perhaps the worst massage I've ever received and I've had dozens. Brent asked me to start on my back which I found strange. He then proceeded to massage my neck almost exclusively for about 15 minutes including twisting and stretching it in different directions which wasn't at all relaxing. He finally moved onto my left arm and hand and again bent it in every direction and angle. I felt like I was at the chiropractor instead of a massage. When I mentioned to him that I would really like to have my back and shoulders massaged, his reply was "Is that all you want?" When I said no he then suggested that he do the other arm to "balance it out" then did my right arm. Then he started bending on my shoulders while I was still face up. Finally with about 15 minutes left, I rolled to my stomach and he worked on my back and shoulders a little bit. Then the time was up and he never even touched my glutes, legs, or feet.
To make matters worse, I was asked to pay $20 extra for "deep tissue" massage I guess because when he initially asked me what I wanted I told him that I liked a strong masseuse because I didn't mind a lot of pressure and mentioned the words "deep tissue". A deep tissue was not what I had but at the time I just wanted to pay and leave and not argue about it.
I won't be back.
