The Vets and staff at Harbor Animal Hospital have always taken the best care of our animals, cats. They are caring and professional.

My dogs have been patients for many years. Dr Norby mainly is taking care of my dog who has bladder cancer. The dogs (2 of them) go there because their care is excellent —baths also — & I have confidence in the veterinarians at Harbor Animal Hospital.

What I love most about coming to this office is how warm, kind, and yet efficient this office is. Everyone greets you and your animal. The office staff and Dr. Norby are fully engaged in providing high quality care for my dog. They listen, fully evaluate, discuss a plan of care including rationale for care . One can discuss cost and options as well. No one seemed in a hurry and yet they moved efficiently and effectively. This is my third visit at this office and I am very pleased with this office.

Although the wait was very long with me having an appointment, the vet was still very patient with my scared dog during his first time being in that location! :)

There is more competition within the pet store and pet service industries than ever before. Consequently, a privately owned business must be doing something rather special in order to not only survive but thrive . This is the case with Harbor Animal Hospital. One of the many differences is that Harbor has been performing customer excellence since opening their doors. They weren't forced to "up their game" in order to be competitive, because they already had high standards.

Even though we moved from Torrance, where Harbor Animal Hospital is located, to Culver City...there was never a hesitation or discussion as to where we would take our pets for veterinary services. When your pets are receiving conscience, tender loving care, the front staff acknowledges you by name when you enter, and the office and patient rooms are immaculate - why change?

Some of the other fine points include:

Not having to wait an extended period of time before seeing the veterinarian.

There is no sense of being rushed, talked down to or asking a stupid question.

Prices are more than fair for the level of service you receive.

Follow-up calls are made, checking on the progress of your pet.

You get a sense that those working genuinely enjoy their job.

It's a blessing just to know that such business still exists.

Everyone is just so friendly it calms me down when i gotta take my guineapigs to the vet. The doctor always talks to my girls as if they were his own and gives us as much information as possible when he sees a problem. I have 5 guinea pigs but obly 3 have seen this vet so far, but i will definately bring them in for a yearly check up.
