My horse was in need of a vet on a Sunday morning. My usual vet was out of town. Dr. Gilbert was available and arrived quickly to suture my horse and was very direct and upfront with her diagnosis, treatment plan and prognosis. She wanted updated daily and told me to call her cell number if I needed anything. Dr. Gilbert was very patient and very caring toward my horse. She was quiet and calm which made my horse more relaxed and cooperative. She was not at all intimidated by any behavior my horse exhibited and was knowledgeable in how to control the situation when my horse reacted to a shot. I highly recommend Heartland and Dr. Gilbert for any horse needs!!! Thanks a million Dr. Gilbert for your assistance in taking care of my horse. She and my other horses are like my children and I do everything I can to make their lives wonderful! Thanks again!
