The haircut and visit itself was excellent, but the reason I knocked off 2 stars is because I haven’t visited a hair salon in at least 6 months and I reserved this visit after receiving an email offer for 50% off a haircut. What was my charge? $69. That’s the normal full price for the haircuts I get, so it’s obvious the email was not honored and i did not want to ask and make a big scene over it. This is not the first time this has happened either. The last time I used Groupon coupon and still got charged full price and then had new-customer coupons handed over to me for a next visit. Hello, those coupons that the staff gave me were for new customers! I’m not new. I’ve been at this location for 3 years! Even if I brought those coupons, I am sure nobody would honor them because, wait, “you’re not a new customer, ma’am.” So I am really upset that coupons or email promises of a 50% off haircut are not being honored. Now I have to explain to my husband that the salon lied to me again and did not honor a coupon. Either I will have to find a new salon or you guys really should refund 50% of the cost back to me to honor the recent email that was sent to me.
