I have been with this dental office for almost 10 years and it is only within the last year and a half I'm contemplating leaving. First, my wait time from arrival to service and then service to seeing the doctor is too long. Today my appointment was 11:00 for a cleaning and I left at 1:30. Second, the cost for procedures seems to be so high now. I know insurance has a part to play but really? Apart from these, the staff and doctor are very nice and pleasant. I feel very comfortable.

Thank you for your comments. I apologize for the extended wait. Our team meets every morning to discuss the schedule for the day to keep things moving along quickly and smoothly for our patients. We know your time is valuable. Trust me, we feel the same way when we visit our doctors.
Because every patient is unique and special, sometimes we have to take a little extra time, depending on what their needs are for that day.

Long waits are never good. We track wait times and appointment times. We are also implementing a system to track patient preference better. If time is higher on the list then will flag appointments for priority scheduling. We are also doing a lot of staff traing. On March 8th the average wait was only 13 minutes. Only two patients were seated late that day. Apparently one was you. We had a surgery that became more complicated than expected.
