Front Desk staff was nothing short but amazing and extremely professional. Based off the salons reputation, I called for a last minute haircut as I was leaving for a business trip.
They were able to take me in less than hour. The girl that cut my hair was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. I explained to her that I have curly hair and showed her two pictures of my hair in previous years. One, a medium stacked bob and one long pixie cut. I was going towards back to cutting it off to a long pixie cut but she stated lets just clean up the current bob you have and get some of the weight off (thick hair). She cut my hair and started to blow my hair out. #1 You can not half way blow out someone's hair that is curly and then go thru it with a straightening iron. The hair must be completely blown out with a round brush to pull out the curl and then smoothed with the iron. I should know since I have been doing this way and every other stylist since these products were put on the market well over a decade ago. It was almost as she then in a rush and didn't want to finish it properly.
She turned me around to see the back and I almost cried. Not only did she cut the back like a 1990's rap video, it was still curly. Again, my hair has been cut many ways and never is it this curly once blown out. At this point I wanted to get out of there, get home and re-dry it in hopes it would be better. The next day I had to fly out for my trip. In tears, I couldn't believe I was going out in public, for a business trip with this hair cut. Its extremely uneven, she used the thinning shears so much that my hair is now frizzy. The back is SO bad that its embarrassing. I have pictures of my hair short and smoothes out nicely. Every day since I have tried numerous products and different ways of drying it and because the back is so uneven the back looks wavey and horrid. Once I was back in town I called and left a message to talk to her. No return call, still an absolute horrible haircut.I don't want to hurt her feelings but this is bad!
I cant believe I paid money for this. I am used to paying quite a bit for an experienced stylist but supercuts would have done a better job! Every day its embarrassing to leave the house.
Looks like training in communication and education in haircutting is in order!
