My daughter took herself to the dentist as I had to work. And when I came home, I found that she had been sitting all day heartbroken! Perhaps such a young dentist doesn't understand that sometimes you need to get o know a patient before you start suggesting cosmetic surgery. We are poor. I have raised my children alone, and we saved every penny for the 6 years(each) for braces, pallet expansion, tonsils & adenoids. My daughter is young, and while she may not be perfect, she is absolutely lovely! She actually got up early & dressed nice for this opportunity to spend her very hard earned 82.00 for a teeth cleaning. We saved all year for our appointments! And now she will never go back! 1st she was told that she needed work for over 700. (which she doesn't have), yet the hygienist had already told her that her teeth were fine. She was told that she needed to have her jaw broken and her upper lip brought down??? she has gone to Dr. Maginnis since 1st grade & Dr. Morris since 18 months old, and they have never told me this! If my daughter decides that she needs work in the future, it will be her decision, but she will not return to Howard Family Dental. Please learn what NOT to say to a young girl! I tried to submit with 0 stars, but I had to pick one. So I reluctantly give it a one.
