I can see that other have reviewed your company with five stars. I can completely understand why! My experience from the beginning to end with your organization was absolutely spectacular in every way.
I really am too busy to be doing this right now, as our new restaurant is opening in a couple of days. But not sharing my experience would be a travesty.
On Friday night, heading into Memorial Day weekend, my partners and I went through our new kitchen to plan out where our food products would go. We had left all of our refrigeration covered to this point to protect it from construction dust as things were being finished up in the building. When we removed the plastic covering, we were shocked to find the wrong tables had been ordered. It was an honest and understandable mistake due to the way the catalogue was set up. Nevertheless, we were in a serious bind. We were thirteen days from opening the restaurant, and it was a three day weekend, and virtually every supply company we could think of would not be available until T minus 10 days! I was able to reach Webstaurant store and discuss options with them. In the meantime, I took to Ebay and found some potential options with shipping windows that fit within our timeline. I contacted one of the sellers on Ebay to confirm the timeline. In my message, I shared the circumstances of our predicament. The respondent was Leslie from Ice & Refrigeration Systems. I didn't know what company she was with at the time, but Leslie recommended another brand other than the one I was looking for partially because it's location was more favorable to ensure the shipping window was reached. But this other brand was actually better, the warranty far better, and it was better equipped. I was going to settle because I was in a bind, but she actually helped me make the best decision. And she even offered to do it for the same price as the other, less impressive model. I was literally floored! It's scary to make a big purchase over the internet like this, but after a little research, I decided to take the chance, and we actually ordered three sandwich tables from them. Two 60 inch, and one 72 inch.
On Tuesday, we got the wrong tables out of our restaurant. We were going to begin training on Saturday. Knowing how restaurant equipment usually works, I thought we might have to delay training. That morning, another employee from Ice & Refrigeration Systems contacted me. He informed me of the shipping expectations for the equipment, and provided tracking numbers. He told me we would have tables the next day. Yeah, right! That couldn't happen! But it did. That Wednesday morning, little more than 72 hours after ordering them, I received our two 60 inch tables in pristine condition. Every person in the restaurant was floored! The following morning we received our 72 inch table. It had slight damage, and I once again interacted with several different employees from Ice & Refrigeration Systems. The small cosmetic damage seemed very important to them, and they made a plan to rectify it ASAP.
Over the course of this whole process, we received three new tables for less money than our originals with better warranties. And we received them quickly in an emergency situation. Through the process, I interacted with four different employees from this company. This was the best customer transaction I have ever been a part of. I have never felt more valued and important as a customer, nor had a team of people work so effectively to take care of me in an adverse situation. I will give my highest recommendation to anyone and everyone I know that is looking for refrigeration. Additionally, we are a fledgling company with plans for expansion. I will do everything I can to try to utilize this company for our refrigeration needs in the future.
