Very disappointed with his service. I came for a second try in dealing with a broken back tooth. The first one I was there in September of 2021, his other dentist took a look and tried to numb me.
After 45 and three injections, I had to give up as my face looked like I had a stroke and my nerve was still not numb. I accept that and understand there was nothing he could do at the time and that I would have to reschedule.
I came back December 6th to try again but this time seen Mr Nichols. It seems he was in a rush and I did t have time to explain to him my problem. But I did get a chance to explain to his assistant what happened last time I was here and that they were unable to numb the area that needed work. Right away he took a look with a little dentist mirror and mentioned that he was going to test it by tapping my teeth. I warned him that I was in extreme pain and that there will be a reaction if he hits too hard. He went ahead and started at the front and worked his way back and when he tapped that tooth he did not tap very hard , but it was enough to make me jump. He set his dental instrument down, put one hand on each side of my shoulders and said I quote “we need to be real here” .
I was shocked at his response and told him that it it did hurt. He did not reply moments later he reached for the needle and was about to inject me and I asked him if I could have some numbing gel. Again his response and I quote “I pride myself and what I’m doing”and said that he would go slow.
He continued to inject me with the numbing agent and there was slight discomfort, but not as bad as I thought it was going to be..
He said he would be back in a few minutes to check on me. A few minutes went by and I “clacked” my teeth and felt the pain. And realized that once again this wasn’t going to work. When his assistant came back to check on me I was telling her the situation not realizing that he standing behind me. He asked well what is it that you want done today. I told him I was not the dentist and all I want is the pain to be gone. At that point he decided to refer me to a specialist.
Pretty much from the moment he came in I felt he had less than little regard to my situation or pain and I was just another person that he had to deal with in his day
I received my referral and was asked to check with the front desk, at that point I decided I will no longer use his services and searched for a different dentist.
His staff And the other dentist are very friendly. And that’s pretty much where it ends
