From beginning to end, this place was a mess. Starting with the 12 pages each I had to fill out online for my husband and myself to have a routine eye exam, incorrect address of appt, and the attitude of just about everyone we came in contact with at both locations of eye specialists to the Laser center across the street (where our appt was supposed to be). I received a prescription for eyeglasses. At the center, the cost for lenses and frames were astronomical, but I don't fault them for trying to make money, so I took my prescription elsewhere. Come to find out, although one of my numbers was kinda low, no eyeglass place could create them. So I called the doctor's office back to see what I could do to have him bump a # to get some progressives as the doc suggested. I called not once, but twice. First time, after my call was transferred, the girl on the other end actually sat in silence for about a minute and half before pretending she never knew I was on the line. She may have been caught off guard, but she certainly made it seem like I was the idiot. Then the girl was supposed to call me back in a 'few minutes', that call never came. I called back and left a message for Dr Gellar's office and yet still no call returned. Not one apology... ever, anytime along the way of this disastrous experience. Even though my exam was covered by insurance, at this point, I GIVE UP and will go somewhere else and pay out of pocket for the same exam I already had. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because Dr Gellar had a pleasant personality, which was a welcome change from everyone else until we stepped into the exam room and after the time we left. I'm hoping for everyone else's sake, this is an isolated incident for this business, I'd hate for anyone else to have to go thru this.
