Dr. Marshall is a 1989 graduate of the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been working in the field of companion animal health since 1979. Dr. Marshall is a lifelong Eastside resident and has enjoyed bringing the first feline-exclusive practice to Mercer Island. His special area of interest is feline geriatrics, prolonging and enhancing your cat's senior years.
Dr. Marshall is married and has two children. The Marshalls previously welcomed into their home, the "special needs" clinic cat Jicama, in 2002--Jicama conquered diabetes and lived well with the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. He passed away because of aggressive lymphoma in 2012. They currently share their home with a pettite cat they adopted named Millicent Cloudberry. She was born in 2011. The Marshall family dog, a Bassett-Retriever cross named Fred, is not amused by Millie. Fred was born in 2005. The Marshalls' late cat Kimo was the model for the Island Cats Logo.

Dr. Marshall and his staff are exceptionally caring and compassionate. He has a very practical evidence based approach to feline care that is a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend
Island Cats is a wonderful experience every time I am there! The doctors and all staff are so welcoming and caring. Yesterday, as I drove away from our appointment, I thought about how fortunate we are to be able to bring Remy there! Thank you to all and Remy thanks you, too!!!!
Island Cats is always fantastic! The vets really know cats and I feel like they don’t try to upsell you on procedures that can get really expensive. They provide you with all of your options, but also tell you what they think would be best, allowing for you to make an informed decision in your cat’s care.
I have had a really bad experience over the past two years with dentists. I feel like I finally found the best dentist out there. Dr. Bova is so thorough in all she does. She was the only one to finally fix my problem, and I'm now pain free.
Her staff is just as great as she is, so friendly and caring. Her assistant really knew her stuff as well, and not only do they explain every thing they are doing, there is a mirror so you can see, and get a better understanding of each step they take.
Very high tech office too! I'm so glad I was recommended to Dr. Bova and her staff.
I took my touch screen HP to A Plus because the screen was broken. They charged me to take the screen off, but couldn't find a replacement because they weren't in stock anywhere. They told me they would follow up when one became available. I used the computer for quite a while with no touch screen, then I took it to another repair shop closer to my house because I didn't want to take it all the way back to Bellevue. The person at that shop told me I got ripped off because every repair shop knows that HP will fix the screens for free. I sent it in to HP and they fixed the screen for free. Needless to say, I'm thoroughly disappointed with A Plus.
