Had a catastrophic failure of a motor-nount on my Jeep. The mounting bolts sheared-off flush to the engine-block (three bolts). When the engine-mount broke away, the radiator fan it's shroud and broke it, sending a a piece into the radiator and punctured a very small hole in it as well..
Brian (Assistant Manager) was my contact and was very helpful... They identified the broken mount, showed me what had happened and described how they would manage to extract the remaining part of the bolts and given the existing conditions, the extraction job presented some challenges. However, Brian told me that they had seen this before and he conveyed to me a sense of confidence that they would be able to extract and replace the bolts and re-attach the mount in a reasonable amount of time/expense.
I left the Jeep with them on a Friday morning and the complete job was done by Monday afternoon, which included replacing and testing the radiator and replacing the serpentine belt. They determined and assured me that the motor-mounts themselves were not damaged and did not warrant replacement. Because they were not able to assess the time it would take to get the bolts extracted, I was given an initial verbal estimate, with a caveat that it may take more or less time to extract them... The final bill for labor and parts was in line with the original verbal estimate. Parts and Labor seemed to be reasonable, given that I provided no parts for them to install. The warranty on the parts and labor seems to be inline with reasonable expectations and manufacturer guaranties.
I chose Jeff' Auto Repair Lynnwood, based on a previous review from a Jeep owner and the general feedback on Yelp! and they were reasonably close and easy to get to from my home... Overall, given the circumstances of my repair and the responsiveness of the Management and the team, I believe that I've found a trustworthy, straight-shooting and competent group of folks, that have the experience and skills to efficiently and expertly service my Jeep in the future.
