I had hopes for this shop but in the end I wasn't happy with service and also clarified why second opinions are key. For the diagnostic and inspection, which I had paid for, I was told it was gonna be quite big bill and when asked for the inspection forms I was told they were not available. I always get inspection forms, even when i took my car to the dealership. I took it to another mechanic and was told that the problem that was listed on the invoice wasn't a problem after all. He had noticed also that a vacuum line was disconnected. Now my car is running perfectly and I saved over $1000 by getting second opinion and will not be returning.
We performed diagnosis on this vehicle after it was improperly repaired at another shop. The manager of the other shop came to our store with the customer and made himself unprofessional while attempting to discredit our work, to cover for his own mistakes. Unfortunately, he was able to influence this customer's opinion. This was an unusual circumstance, and these comments do not reflect our normal high standard. We stand by our diagnosis on this vehicle and suspect the actual correction made by the other shop was more that repair of a simple vacuum line.
