My wife was having difficulty starting her car and she took her car into John's. After a quick computer scan was done she was told that her crank shaft sensor and one of her cam shaft sensors were bad. She was then told this was a very difficult repair and it would be $900. She was also told that she needed several other maintenance services or she would soon "be on the side of the road calling a towtruck" the total for all services to "run like new" would be $2,500. We sought a second opinion and at Eurasian motors her car was fixed in less than an hour for $230 and they did not feel any of the other suggested items were necessary. After talking to others that have been they they too were given outrageous quotes. I was disgusted to hear this.
John's Auto Care replied:
Sorry you are having problems and would like to correct the problem if had more information we all make mistakes, tried researching this case but noticed we dont have a shop in our area called Eurasian although did find one in bosie and one in virginia which both have Johns auto care facilitys but we are in Greer SC if i could get more info would like to help thanks john
