I enjoyed my experience from the time I walked in the door until I left. The employees were friendly, accommodating, and quick with beautiful smiles and NO PERSONAL girl drama was going on; I absolutely hate to hear about the personal lives of the people working in the salon; my philosophy... keep it to yourselves, I have enough of my own drama and this is my escape. I don't want to hear yours unless I ask; I will quit going to a salon the first time that happens! I thought the coloring area vs. the cutting stations were a little different (for me), kind of felt like I was in an assembly line and I was not at all impressed with the wash bowls; very uncomfortable (should be one of the highlights of getting my hair done; especially at the price I paid!). I was VERY pleased with how the staff worked me in with the stylist I wanted for my service and I received a nice little gift when I was done (I assume for my first visit). I don't have a problem paying for quality work; however, I have been having my hair done for a long time and the prices are getting out of hand. My stylist was spot on and fantastic; so paying a little more for good work is ok, but on average I paid about $40 more at this salon than I have in other very good reputable salons where I felt the prices were at the top of the scale for salons outside of LA, Chicago, NY, etc. I would definitely recommend this salon to a friend or colleague; with the warning it comes with a pretty steep price tag for a Louisville salon. There were nice features such as there was a girl giving complimentary hand massages; it was ok; nothing to write home about. I have been to salons with better customer care/service, better appointed space and atmosphere (more room; and spa like; didn't feel like a cramped hair salon) and not as expensive. All in all a nice experience; great stylist; a decent salon; but a bit pricey.
