About
Kevin Shaw of Kevin Shaw Plumbing, Inc. has been serving the San Gabriel Valley since 1982. I am sorry you had a less than stellar experience with our company.
We have reviewed your work order and invoice notes and stand by our recommendations.
Your water heater is not code compliant. In the past somebody has worked on the water heater and broken the seal on the combustion chamber.By law, it would be negligent for us to start your water heater when we know it is not safe to operate. Yes you said that the Gas company guy got it to work, but that does not change the facts. We are not willing to put our reputation and your lives on the line, do to an unsafe condition for any amount of money, big or small. We provided a legitimate service for the fee charged.

Richard, The work we performed is backed by a 1 year warranty. If there is something wrong, please give us a call so we can make it right. As far as the additional repairs, they notes I see said that our plumber was able to repair the tub/shower valve, so no additional work was needed. He did note that the water pressure was excessive. I have attached out techs notes so that you can see how detailed he was.
"Found lav drain draining real slow, will have to snake to attempt and correct problem. Also lavatory two handle moen faucet needs to be repaired to stop leak. Will need to replace both cartridges. Moen single control shower valve is also leaking and will attempt to make repair to stop leak. First attempt was not successful and installed another cartridge to see if it was a defective cartridge or a worn out shower valve. After second try looks like leak stopped if it does continue, we would have to change shower valve. Also found toilet leaking made repair by installing inside tank components. After work performed tested and no more leaking of the toilet. Also looked at water pressure and looks like system needs a pressure regulator to bring pressure down.
