Dr. Glen Korsen or "Dr. Glen" as his patients call him, is a local Long Islander. He grew up in Smithtown and attended public schools there. As a child, he learned to enjoy his dental visits through positive experiences with his own pediatric dentist. Dr. Glen decided at a young age that one day he would return to the town he grew up in and work as a pediatric dentist. After graduating from Smithtown High School West, Dr. Glen continued his education at the State University of New York at Binghamton. Dr. Glen then moved to Baltimore to complete four years of training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After obtaining his DDS, Dr. Glen returned to Long Island to complete a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at Schneider Children's Hospital in New Hyde Park (now known as Cohen Children's Medical Center) where he served as chief resident during his second year. Dr. Glen has been providing dental care at Kids-Smile Children's Dentistry for infants, children, adolescents and special needs children since 1998. He is a member of the Suffolk County Dental Society, New York State Dental Association, American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Glen is the proud parent of his two children, Sydney and Luke.
