This was the worst salon experience I have ever had. I submitted a request for appointment online and requested an experienced stylist; I was given a new stylist, who, as expected, did not know how to handle my hair. I just moved to the area, and I brought my aveda color profile with me that gave me highlights and lowlights; I have neither, my hair basically looks all the same color, even though I paid for both. About halfway through my haircut, she asked for assistance from another stylist, who had to take another inch off my hair that I was trying to grow out to fix the cut. I paid close to $200 to train their employee and receive a horrible cut after 4 hours of being there for a highlight and cut with short hair. I would not recommend this salon until they can get their staff properly trained.

I only went in to get hair product. The receptionist was not nice or friendly.

I love Lauren! My hair looks just as good on day 60 as it does on day 1. The salon is clean and the employees are friendly.

I loved my most recent experience at Life Aveda! My hair stylist was punctual, courteous, and was able to provide a haircut that enhanced my waves.

Great experience,

I usually come to this Aveda location and have a really great experience. This last time I went (4/21), it was not so great. I asked him for a trim, and wanted to add more layers but I got the complete opposite. My hair was past my butt, and now it is just above half of my back... definitely not what I asked for. The style of cut I had before I got it cut this time was a hard V cut with layers and everything was blended together nicely and didn't look so blunt at the ends of my hair. How I can describe my hair now is a box-y looking "V" (if you want to even call it that), and I feel like I can just see chunks cut from the ends of my hair which he said it was for "texture". It looks horrible. He tried to "fix" it by curling my hair before I left, but I was still super disappointed at the way it looks. Guess hair always grows back... Next time I will do more research on the hair stylist, and not just make an appointment with anyone available.

I’ve been to the salon before, but just moved back to the area and the girl who used to do my hair is no longer working there. So I got a random stylist, Alex. He did a dry cut and I was surprised that I was still charged full price for The haircut when my old stylist charged me half of what a full cut and style would be. He didn’t add layer or trim up my layers so I still have dead ends. Alex is very nice and fun but I probably will not return.

Everyone at the salon so gracious, knowledgeable and interesting. Kelsey, whom I was so incredibly lucky to find after my “hair disaster” is soooo wonderful! I actually look forward to coming in

Experience was great overall. Had some difficulty with my bangs but will go back.
