Absolutely wonderful office. I am so happy I took my Bearded Dragon here when she started showing signs of distress and lethargy, with multiple situations occurring. She was recently gravid, had laid a couple clutches, and was exhibiting more symptoms than the usual following a gravid stage. I knew this was going to make diagnosis a little more difficult as there were so many factors involved that would need to be ruled out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They definitely keep the consultation rooms and waiting room very clean. During my entire time there, I had witnessed staff regularly picking up and cleaning and mopping floors when there was no one waiting in the front room or when no traffic in the office. There is complimentary coffee while you wait, which is not a long wait when you go at the right times during the day. There is no parking lot or spaces for the clinic so you will have to find street parking in this area of Long Beach (Anaheim between Termino and Redondo, an area very familiar to locals as having a real lack of parking when residents are home from work). Middle of the day is perfectly fine - plenty of street parking. That's just the way it is in that part of Long Beach. We were lucky to have Dr. Ridgeway, as I later read that he is the guy to see. He had wonderful bedside manners and was very attentive to our pet during consultation. I found the estimated cost of the consultation, diagnostics, and treatment plan for our Bearded Dragon very reasonable, and was even more pleased when the final cost was less than the estimated cost. Definitely making LB Animal Hospital the place for my reptiles and Dr. Ridgeway their primary vet.
