I used to go to master automotive a for all my repair needs. They did over $2000 worth of repairs in 2013.
Radiator, water pump, brakes, power steering hoses, thermostat, ect.
I trusted bill and his mechanics.
When I sent my fiancé to them to have her brakes checked she was told she needed a radiator, water pump, brakes all the way around, idler pully and a belt for $1400.
We replaced the pully and belt ourselfs.
She took her vehicle to another mechanic for a second opinion. The mechanic stated no uncertain terms that she did not need work on her radiator water pump or breaks. Instead he merely replaced the worn-out radiator cap.
as for my vehicle, in less than a year my radiator that was installed by Master automotive ruptured. I replaced it myself with the help of a friend and discovered that they had not replace the radiator cap when they replaced my radiator.
Less then a month later I got a bad bearing sound in my front hubs.
When I took it to a mechanic I could trust he showed me where I had 2 different types of grease on my front bearings.
The mechanics at master automotive had just added grease to the bearings. They didn't clean they and they sure didn't pack the grease into them like a competent mechanize would.
I wouldn't reccomend this shop if they were the only shop in Vegas!
Hi Russell Belian, I'm very surprised and sorry to hear that you are not happy with the service you received. We pride ourselves in providing the highest quality service, and if you are unsatisfied, we are unsatisfied. Please take note that a new radiator will explode as a result of excessive build up of pressure and it is not warranted by the manufacturer. We believe in selling only services and parts that are needed and your radiator cap was in good condition at the time we replaced your radiator. Since I do not know who your fiance is, I'm unable to make any comments. I'm the new owner of Master Automotive Centers and you are welcome to call me to discuss your situation. Thank you, Vic
