This was our daughter's wedding-preparation spa day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The wedding party was located in 2 cozy rooms where we could interact easily with each other. The salon recommended bringing in food, which was a wonderful suggestion. We were able to eat, mingle and beautify for 2 hours. The staff was wonderful and did a great job with all our pedicures and manicures. This was my first experience with gel polish. Where has this been all my life? Best invention ever! My nail polish lasted more than 2 hours without chipping! It's been 3 days now and it still looks like I just got them done. And don't leave out the paraffin wax on your next visit. It was well worth it. Thank you Maxim Spa & Salon for making it a very memorable & enjoyable day for us.

I loved my massage and facial, my manicure was not done the best and my gel polish lasted less than a week which was pretty disappointing. I would definitely return for the massage and facial!

My experience with my optometrist appointment was positive. The exam was thorough and I was provided with sufficient information and advice. My subsequent appointment with the optician was not positive. I was one of two people in the waiting area signed in for help and after the previous customer was served I waited 15 minutes (as the only one there!) before I finally asked the girl at the desk what the delay was. It turns out the optician was just distracted and "didn't notice me"... not a positive start. The subsequent service was decent and I was fitted for glasses I liked and was told the glasses would be back within 2 weeks. After 2.5 weeks with no word on the completion of the glasses I returned to the office and inquired as to whether the glasses were ready. I was told that they had come in but were sent back to the lab for repair, yet I was never informed as to the delay or any re-adjusted expectation for completion.. I guess I am most disappointed because I pay a significant premium ($800+ glasses) for good service along with excellent quality. Falling back on service makes me want to promptly take my optical business elsewhere where I might get better service. If I were to review this based on my experience with the optometrist, I would give it a 10, but as a complete end-to-end business, I'd have to drop my review to a 7.
