This review is purely based on the staff upfront and Norma specifically. I was recommended by Dr. Yung's younger brother to go to his dental office and have been so for a few years. However, in my most recent visit, after my dental cleaning and check up, Norma at the front desk informed me that my blue shields provider no longer covers my insurance upfront and that I needed to pay the full amount upfront. I thought that was weird given that it was in network. I paid the full amount and after called my provider who confirmed that I was in network and should not have had to pay the full amount. My network even called the office and spoke with Norma who was beyond unpleasant and made up an excuse that they no longer want to be in the in network providers for blue cross blue shields which is why she asked me to pay upfront. I went to Dr. Yung's office in good faith and Norma unfortunately lied which resulted in bad faith and I can only imagine how many other people she lied to. I opened up a bath faith claim to file a complaint about Norma and the office as they should not be lying to customers like this to get them to pay upfront when they clearly know the insurance is in network.
