Dr. Gordon was friendly and professional, as usual. I feel that she knows me well and that she takes very good care of me by explaining different options that are available to me. She informed me that my eyes had changed slightly in the many years that I have been her patient. I could continue to use my oldest pair of glasses until next year when my insurance will pay for a new pair or I could get new lenses. I told her that I wanted to check on the cost of new lenses before I made that decision. She walked me out to the glasses area and set me up to get an estimate. I was satisfied with the estimate & I was ready to purchase new lenses when I was informed that if the frames break I would be responsible to provide a new frame for the lenses I purchased. I found this shocking since my frames are LAFont & are very expensive. I declined the new lenses since I feel that the manufacturer &/or the installer should take responsibility for any damage, not the person who paid hundreds of dollars for the frames, only to have them broken by professionals when they are not even in her possession.
