Happy to longer be in pain, but also concerned a simple issue was missed that could have been addressed way before I was in pain.
I had mentioned sensitivity my past few visits, and this was attributed to my recent pregnancy and gum inflammation. A deep cleaning was recommended, and after this I was in even more pain. The pain became worse so I finally made another apt, thinking it must be a cracked filling. My hunch was right, and after looking back at past x-ray - a crack was visible. Not in just my last visit, but in a couple prior as well. This was missed for at least 3 visits over the last year by multiple hygienists and dentists.
The filling that was cracked, was also done in this office, and I heard one of the doctors mention it was defective.
At the end of the day it was fixed, and I am no longer in pain. The bight side, no unnecessary work was being done.
