Modele Salon opened its doors in September 2005, with a team of fashionable, educated stylists. Relocating from downtown's Pearl District, we opened Modele in the Historic downtown neighborhood of Oregon City. Our vision of bringing an urban chic environment to the outlying Portland Communities led us to this charming growing area.

I think Brittany gave me a cut better than I have ever had and she is very personable. However, your web site states $15+ for mens cuts. I was suprised to pay $40. I have two coworkers that told me about your salon that claimed they would frequent more often but price was a factor. I have to agree. I have been struggeling to find a great person to cut my hair. Brittany is that person but I am not sure if i can pay that much. We'll see. I do love my hair cut.
Just curious, who gives the $15 cut? The janitor.

Thank you for the review, your feedback helps us to better serve our clients. We appreciate that you acknowledged the service was good and you were happy with the cut Brittany gave you. We are aware that our pricing structure can be confusing and does need to be better clarified on our web site. We will make that a priority to resolve the confusion, and help potential clients understand how the prices can vary. We have stylists that range from one year of experience who are in our training program to stylist with 18 years experience. The $15+ represents the pricing for those currently training in our apprentice program. Pricing between $20 and $30 is for stylists who have 2-8 years experience, and the top range of $30 to $40 for men's cuts represents stylists with 8+ years experience. We know that $40 is an investment in a haircut, and we appreciate the support, however, we love that we have a price point for all people and can serve a wide variety of needs this way. Thank you again for the valuable feedback, we truly appreciate your business.
