I went in for a consultation and felt very comfortable about trying a new salon and stylist. My bad judgment. I have darkish hair and highlights that are not too far off from the natural color because I only get my hair done once a year. I came out blonde, ugly color tone even. Might as well been single process. When I called they did let me come in to try to add toner to darken it but refused to dry it. It looks so awful! But they are sweet and others seemed to be more regular and happy.

I had the most disappointing experience. 5 1/2 hrs for a bayalge/roots (done simultaneously) trim and blow out. The color is completely wrong. My hair was brassy and orange when it was rinsed and they started blow drying. When I said it to the stylist she blamed me, saying that she didn't want to leave it in because she knew I wanted to get out of there. Meanwhile, while I was sitting with the color in, she told me that she didn't want to leave it much longer because she didn't want to damage my hair. Which one was it??? And how in the world is it my fault ? I'm not the stylist and wouldn't claim to know when my the color should be rinsed out or not. I showed her a very clear picture of the color I wanted. My color is nowhere near what I asked for. It is still brassy and orange even after another toner. She gave me no indication that it couldn't be done like the picture. I was also told at the END of the appointment that there was a 4% surcharge for paying with a credit card. When I asked the owner why he didn't mention that to me on the phone when I booked as a first time client, he told me that when people spend this kind of money on their hair they don't notice a 4% surcharge. I told him that was a shady practice and he should have been forthcoming about it because it is NOT a norm at salons. He proceeded to tell me how I am paying this surcharge at many places like gas stations and I just don't know it. It was truly bizarre. My experience was one of the worst experiences I have had in a salon since. And now I have to find a way to pay for someone to fix my cut and my color. Getting a bayalage for me isn't something I would do often. Its a lot of money and I decided to treat myself. I wish I hadn't bothered.

As always, a great hair cut with Stephanie. My hair looks and feels much healthier and the new part/face frame are a great refresher! The new hairspray is GREAT - I didn't know just a few spritzes of hair spray could do so much!

I am so happy to have found Sarah through a referral. She really knows how to cut straight blond hair!!! (Not every high-end styalist can do it well). The highlights are also superb. And as a working mom of two, I loved the Salon's late hours and complementary wine. This is my new go-to salon, and I am looking forward to my next appointment right before the holidays.
