I have not seen a dentist in over 15 years due to fear of a past trauma. I recently experience a tooth infection in one of my molars. I called the Plant City office on Wednesday (terrified to even make an appointment but I had literally no other choice). They scheduled me at 8am the very next day for my first visit (which was at no cost to me). The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel more than comfortable. Kind is a very important word to me and I would use it to describe every single staff member here. After a full evaluation I was scheduled for a tooth extraction on Friday. They sent me home on Thursday with antibiotics and pain medicine. When I came in on Friday afternoon to have my tooth removed the entire process from beginning to end was less than an hour. One of the front staff members recommended I bring a pair of headphones and that was probably the best advice anyone could give me. The novocaine should have been the worst part but the dentist was so gentle that I barely felt the needle. After a few minutes they were ready to extract the tooth so I popped in my air pods and before I knew it, the procedure was over! I had absolutely zero anxiety during my multi day visit. I don’t typically write reviews but Monticciolo Dentistry deserves all of the praises! I will spend the next year or two taking care of my teeth because I am no longer afraid of oral care.
