Recently I purchased two new frames with prescription lenses and new prescription lenses for an existing frame purchases from the Mountain View Optometry Clinic for ~ $1700. I have been purchasing frames and prescription lenses from the Mountain View Optometry Clinic for ~ 10 years and have had great service. However, I did not have a great experience during this recent visit on Friday May 10, 2019. I am very dissatisfied with the post sales support.
Despite receiving copies of an itemized receipt from the Mountain View Optometry Clinic in the past I could not receive an itemized receipt via email. Although I signed up for the Portal Access the Itemized Receipt was not available as requested over the phone with Jenny. I also received a phone call after leaving the Clinic that the dark blue tint requested for the Maui Jim Sunglasses was not available despite being informed during my visit that the dark Blue Tint would be available. In addition, I learned that a Co Payment Fee had to be added to my bill because it was not charged during the initial visit. All of these events contributed to a very poor experience and a waste of my time.
