Ellie, our Weaton Terrier, was boarded wearing a Seresto Flea Collar. Collars are removed due to a choking hazard which is understandable. The collar was removed AND lost. And beyond the obvious problem of losing the item, this eliminated her flea and tick protection during her stay. The collar was later found and I was contacted about it. During the call, I asked about fleas in the boarding area and was informed that Muddy Creek recommends topical or internal flea and tick protection. I don't think this was terribly sensitive to the actual problem. Flea collar use should be documented as a potential risk because the collars will be removed. If this is already documented, my apologies for overlooking it. Otherwise, I remain disappointed in this boarding experience.
