My wife had a very bad experience with her 90 minute pre-natal massage. Starting off with the front desk receptionist who didn't seem to care much. My wife and I, we were greeted perfunctorily. We were offered a choice of two beverages, of which she chose the hot tea. After a few minutes of waiting, our massage therapist, Denhe (unsure about the spelling) popped in to walk my wife down to the massage room. When I asked if I could be in the room during the session, the therapist explained that the room was too small for 3, which is understandable.
We explained the problem areas and asked for stronger massage strokes. Her strokes were short and awkward, with very few long continuous ones. She jabbed my wife with her thumbs many times instead of applying smooth and continuous pressure, especially on the spine. That is one area where one should not be applying such pressure. This does not constitute stronger strength during massages. Her massaging techniques were so bad that my wife complained multiple times during the massage but the massage therapist didn't pay any attention to her complaints. The therapist at times massaged such that her weight fell on my wife. She has caused my wife such a problem in her back that it has not stopped aching since she had her massage last Sunday 08/02/2015. My wife has had massages regularly even before her pregnancy and especially during her pregnancy from a different massage place. Every single time she has come back feeling loosened up and relaxed. Looking at your ad and facilities I thought it would be a good experience to get a pre-natal massage at your place. I asked multiple times if the therapist was certified to do a pre-natal massage. But I really doubt her certification and your claims on that aspect.
Due to the really bad back problems caused by the massage at your location, my wife has had to schedule multiple massages within this week at the other place she frequents to help resolve the issues a little. But the ache is still there. She has also scheduled a chiropractic consultation and a doctor's appointment this week to see if something is wrong. A massage, especially a pre-natal massage is one which is supposed to relax ones body, loosen the body and muscles, work out the problems areas. This massage she had was such a miserable experience that she was continuously wishing for it to end as soon as possible and it was not just a complete waste of our money but it has actually ended up costing us much more.
We are really strongly dissatisfied with the massage my wife received at your place and also by the attitude of the staff. Please do take notice of this review as we are deeply unhappy with our experience.
