Its never a good experience when you get a tooth extracted. I was so frightened, thinking the dentist would drill a hole through my tongue and gums on accident, or thinking I would feel excuciating pain. So glad I was wrong. The dentall assistant was very kind, a real 'cool chick', but still very professional as well. Dr. V is young, but he knew what he was doing. He was so relaxed that he made you relax. I lobed how he seemed 'normal', unlike some doctord who have a 'god complex' and think they're better than you because of their title.
The teamwork among staff is amazing. At one point Dr. Busch came in to assist Dr. V. He's just as laid back and easy to talk to as well.
They were very clear regarding post op care, and will answer any questions you may have as well. Now Ive have dental work done in the past, but this is the only place that scheduled a follow up visit/assessment, so unheard of to me. I really appreciate the fact that they really concern themselves with the well being of thier patients, so much much to the point that they schedule a follow up appointmemt to assess thier work and you're doing 1 week post op.
I felt like a valued patient. Staff thanked me for coming in and seemed honored to serve me.
I didnt have insurance at the time, but please dont allow this to stop you. Their prices are reasonable, and you get what you pay for. From the atmosphere, to the stafff, and quailty of service and the bedside manner of the dentist, this place is top notch. I will be going to Dr. V and Dr. Busch to get my dental needs taken care while Im in KCMO. I suggest you do the same as well.
Oh, did I mention I was in and out within 2 hrs? I called the day before to inquire about an appointment, and within 24 hours, I was able to get my tooth extracted? These people are a God send. Please give them a try, you will not regret it.
