OK, I never leave bad recommendations because I do not want to hurt someone's business. This particular business is owned by Dr. Schmidt. He is an excellent doctor that I saw years ago, I would highly recommend him. I have been told that he now only does surgery.
Who manages this clinic, I do not know, but something is amiss.
In my case, the issues I have is with a doctor at the clinic (not Dr. Schmidt). Cancellations (in my case two cancellations back to back) could potentially cause serious problems and significantly change a life. Issues with skin must be seen in a timely manner.
The doctor had seen cancelled the next two appointments When I was cancelled, I went to the back of the line to wait for an appointment, usually 6 weeks or more. Therefore, two cancellations meant a delay for being seen for up to 3 months. No apologies, no concerns about trying to get me in earlier even though it was the clinic cancelling. The same doctor stood me up twice. This was frustrating and a complete waste of the planet's energy. This appointment is an 80 mile round trip for me to get to the clinic. One cancellation came in about 24 hours prior to my appointment. I am retired and unfortunately didn't expect a doctor to cancel; therefore. I wasn't vigilant. The second cancellation came in one and one half hour before the appointment. We were already in transit and never expected the same doc to cancel again. Neither cancellation had to do with other patients needing to bump me from my slot.
Finally, I have requested, no less than three times, to have my eMail address deleted. Had this happened, I wouldn't have received this form to make this review. It took some time to get off their mailing list which generated reminders to make an appointment. Not a good idea to remind a person to make appointments when the appointments were cancelled, for me, 75 percent of the time.
