This time around I left the clinic frustrated. When the Vet Tech brought out the treatment plan after all the examinations were completed, I was not clear as to why there were 3 products that I needed to give my pet being that it was found that she had a scratch both eyes although one was only weeping. I was given a flush, ointment and a serum for the eye. I questioned the Vet Tech which could not articulate the why, so she said it’s for your pet. I took that offensively. In the long run I’m still in doubt, plus they don’t explain how to administer it like if this is something I do all the time. I would think that if she had a scratch in her eye in need of all three products, they would have administered the first round. But of course not. I had to tell them to please administer the first round. They also made a mistake in the billing which she brought up in the beginning 3 times. They said they would take off the heart examination because I got the 1 year heart guard injection. I just had a feeling they were going to still run the full bill and not take out the heart examination. And of course the feeling I had was correct. Although they said I have a credit on my account for next time, it’s frustrating that they would tell me 3 times and still make that mistake. Anytime I have had negative experiences at a veterinary clinic, it’s always the Veterinary Technicians that cause the problem. Maybe this was just a one time fluke, but this one really made a negative impact on me to the point that I’m still thinking about it the next day.
