Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Minkin manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Both doctors are highly experienced in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including the more routine procedures such as extractions, removal of wisdom teeth, diagnosis and treatment of oral disease, TMJ (jaw joint disorders), as well as a full range of dental implant procedures. Dr. Minkin is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and are fully qualified and licensed by the State of California to provide general anesthesia in their office.
