We've always been very pleased with the care at Hope Springs, but you need to do something about lowering your costs. Your pricing is too high - taking care of a pet shouldn't cost as much it does with their medical care. We've been going there for over 13 years - by now we should be getting a frequent-visitor discount of some sort. Back in the day, we didn't clean pets' teeth much less wellness blood work - they lived outside, they used milkbone treats to clean their teeth naturally, and they lived to be 12 or 13 - all without fancy preventive treatments and surgeries. The costs today to take care of a pet have become outrageous - this needs to change. You'll probably say your costs are in line with everyone else's, but across the board, it's out of control.
You are correct; good health care can be expensive for pets, just as it is for humans.. We do everything we can to keep our costs low and definitely recommend pet health insurance to help defray the cost. We are proud to be able to offer exceptional health care services for pets that were not available many years go. We believe that preventive medicine is important. It is obviously optional though. We recommend the best medicine and are happy to discuss options when clients wish. Also, any services clients deem unneccesary for their pets can always be declined. We appreciate your comments. Thank you for sharing your viewpoint.
