About

Dr. Lea's clinical studies focused on pediatrics where she had the privilege to work with a master in the realm of Pediatric and Family Chiropractic practice. Dr. Lea is certified in the Webster's Breech Turning Technique. During her intern work as well as in private practice, she helped several babies turn from the breech position to the head down position, allowing the mothers and babies to have an easier labor and birth experience.

Dr. Lea graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2001 in Davenport, Iowa. Palmer College grants only three awards to graduating Chiropractors. Dr. Lea was nominated for all three awards and was recipient of two: the John Connelly Most Outstanding Graduate Award and the Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award.

Upon graduation, Dr. Lea began practice with her husband Dr. Joseph Piche. Dr. Lea brings her passion for taking care of Women, Pregnant Women, Infants and Children to the practice. Her own pregnancies, births and the growth of her four children have increased the depth of her love for caring for this wonderful group of people. She is thrilled to be able to serve her community through the healing art of Chiropractic.

After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1999, Dr. Joe returned to his home town of Traverse City and founded Piche Family Chiropractic. Dr. Joe completed extensive post-graduate work in the Blair Method of spinal analysis. He is one of only a few chiropractors in the State of Michigan who utilizes the Blair method analysis and spinal adjusting. This brings a unique chiropractic adjustment to the area, which provides a gentle, effective approach to provide renewed health to individuals of all ages.

While still in private practice, Dr. Joe began coaching other chiropractors through the AMC company in 2006. Guiding other chiropractors in growing and developing their dream practices is a highlight of his career. He has since invited two more Chiropractors to join the Piche Family Chiropractic health care team.
