Friendly, knowledgable staff. Dr. Dayton pulled two of my wisdom teeth while I was awake and everything went seamlessly. Glad I read the reviews and happy I choose him as my new dentist. Plus, the downtown facilities are beautiful.

I thought the procedure went well especially considering its extent. I appreciate explanation of options available and the added care by Rick's able assistant in describing what was being done at various stages of the procedure. I am experiencing some pain which is partially controlled with ibuprofen.

I appreciate Amy's dental cleaning, explanations and advice how to keep them clean. I was glad to hear good things about Rick Dayton, DDS from Amy and was impressed with him when he checked out my lower right molar that Dr. Richard Held did a root canal on and left it without a permanent cap because of extended infection or pain. I agree with Rick about not spending more on this tooth with a crown. Rick explained why the Senodyne toothpaste would not relieve any nerve pain in that tooth because it had a root canal. Richard Held had encouraged me to use it to relieve the pain when I pushed on it and for several years before the Root Canal when I complained about nerve gum pain around that area. I did use the Sensodyne for approx. 6 mo. with no changes and stopped when Dr. Held left his practice. I believe that Richard Held failed to find the problem and fix it before I had to have the root canal and maybe loose it. I was encouraged and want to continue with Rick and his services and wish him well in his practice with his new patience from Dr. Held. I was Dr. Held's patience since 1967 or soon after he took over from Dr. Treat.

I was disappointed at this appointment. After the hygienist cleaned and checked my teeth, I waited for about 20 minutes for Dr. Dayton to finish up a phone call. I ended up having to leave to get back to a meeting at work. I'm sure I will be charged my full amount for my cleaning even though I didn't even see my dentist. In my opinion, that's not right.

I was talking to my husband who has been to Dr. Dayton's office for a few appointments this year - he has never seen Dr. Dayton. Again, always charged the full amount even though the dentist wasn't present. My hygienist Julie was great, however.

Final concern - it would be nice if Dr. Dayton joined the MetLife dental network. I (and other GE employees) always have to pay a portion of out-of-pocket expenses even for routine appointments that should be covered 100% by my dental plan.
