I arrived on time but I did not have the form provided. I was told at the desk not to worry because I had been there before. All they had to do was verify my information. I sat in the waiting room for a minute and was surprised to be invited in right away. The initial examination room is ultra-modern and set up for efficiency. I was then asked to sit in the waiting room, but in just a minute or two I was invited back to the doctors office. Doctor Cohen was polite, professional and very thorough. I feel comforted that I do not have to worry about my eyes for another year.

The only complaint I would have is the incessant confirmations of the appointment,

I have an irregular astigmatism and for many years was unable to have contacts that worked. Last year a contact lens specialist at a famous eye institute in Miami gave me contacts that were so blurry I almost couldnt see to drive home and didn't improve. Given numerous previous failed attempts to wear contacts I was reluctant to trust eye care at a shopping mall. However my glass frames broke, and I needed Lenscrafters 1 hr service and a new prescription. Dr Schwitzman urged me to try contacts too, and WOW was I surprised! I could actually see better than with my glasses. Even more interesting to me was that the other contact prescriptions were all so very different than his . I think he is exceptional. Also I should add that he took his time and the eye exam was very thorough. He also patiently explained some other eye conditions I have. His staff also were caring and efficient. Dr Schwitzman certainly earned my respect and gratitude, and I recommend him.
