Unfortunately, besides the lovely interior, I did not have a good experience at Salon Joa. My manicurist/pedicurist just did not seem very skilled. My nails looked botched while I was still at the salon and the polish began peeling that same night. I placed a Yelp review with a picture of my thumb nail, which was just one of the fingers that had obvious problems. With all of the money clearly spent on the interior, it is amazing that you don't have a table that will be more rapidly dry pedicures and manicures. It is a good policy to leave the customer with an approximate amount of time the polish may take to dry. I waited almost a half hour and still botched my pedicure when putting my foot into my sandal. When coming to salon like yours, I expect to receive better than at your average manicure shop, but all I did was pay more for poor service. I was also very unimpressed with your front desk staff who don't even respond to "How are yous" and looked annoyed and bored the whole time. Very bad look for a service business.
